Oval White Sapphire Earrings, 1/5 ct tw Diamond Halo

Eighteen natural diamonds ring a 6 x 4 mm oval white sapphire on each earring. Against the 5 x 3 mm version in this lane, the center is larger and each halo carries two more stones, eighteen per earring against sixteen, published at 1/5 ct tw against 1/8. Both wear to essentially the same 11.95 x 10 mm footprint, though in rose gold the 5 x 3 mm version runs slightly narrower at 11.9 x 9.1 mm, so what you are buying here is stone and diamond content rather than extra size. Four prongs, 2.49 mm high, friction post and back. The accent diamonds are natural, non-serialized stones of G-H color. Our supplier publishes no clarity grade for them. Total carat weight is nominal and may vary slightly. White sapphire is natural colorless corundum. At 9 on the Mohs scale it is the hardest natural gem after diamond. This stone may have been heat treated to improve color and clarity, a standard and permanent practice. Clean it with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Each stone is natural, so slight variation from the photograph is normal.
