Pave Bypass Pearl Ring

The shank does not meet, it passes. One arm sweeps up in pave and curls beneath a 7.0 to 7.5mm cultured freshwater pearl, so the diamonds support the pearl instead of merely surrounding it. That also puts metal where the pearl would otherwise take knocks.

It photographs well and wears comfortably, which is a rarer combination than it sounds. The accent diamonds are natural (mined) diamonds, not lab-grown. Solid 14K gold or platinum, made to your finger size.

Pearl care. Pearls are soft and porous, so keep this one away from ultrasonic cleaners, steam, perfume and chlorine. Wipe it with a soft damp cloth after wearing and it stays bright for decades.

On pearl colour. Cultured pearls carry a natural overtone and no two are identical, so the pearl on the piece you receive may read a touch warmer or cooler than the photograph of another metal on this page. That variation is the gem, not a fault.
