Pear Aquamarine Necklace, Diamond Drop

The only piece in this collection that actually moves. A diamond flower head hangs from the chain, and beneath it an 8 by 5 mm pear aquamarine swings free on its own hinge, so the stone catches light with every step.

At 8 by 5 mm that pear is the largest aquamarine in the collection, and hanging it separately is what lets it be that big without the piece looking top-heavy. Total drop is 17.25 mm, with eight hundredths of a carat of natural diamonds in the flower above.

It hangs on a solid cable chain, in the metal you choose, that adjusts between 16 and 18 inches, so you set the drop where you want it.

The aquamarine is natural. Aquamarine is routinely heated to settle its colour, a permanent and industry-standard treatment, and these stones should be assumed heated.

Where the design carries diamonds, the accent diamonds are natural, never lab-grown or simulated, and are supplied to a published colour and clarity spec.
