Pear Aquamarine Necklace, Diamond V Bar

A shallow V of pavé diamonds runs 19.8 mm across the collarbone, and a 6 by 4 mm pear aquamarine sits point-down at the apex where the two arms meet. The chain attaches at the outer ends of the bar, so the V holds its angle instead of collapsing.

That angle is the whole design. A straight bar sits on the body; a V follows it, and the pear at the bottom gives the eye somewhere to land. Six hundredths of a carat of natural diamonds line both arms.
