Pear White Sapphire Drop Earrings, 1/4 ct tw Diamond

A 5 x 3 mm pear-cut white sapphire sits at the top of the drop, with five natural diamonds falling in a line beneath it. The diamonds run in five published sizes per earring, 2.7, 2, 1.5, 1.2 and 1 mm, so the line tapers to a point as it descends. Total length is 16.17 mm and the whole earring is only 3.43 mm wide, so it reads as a line of light rather than a pendant. Three prongs hold the pear at the top. Friction post and back. The diamonds are natural and non-serialized, color G-H. Clarity is not graded for stones at this size by our supplier. Treat the carat weight as nominal; it can vary slightly. Natural white sapphire is colorless corundum, supplier-graded AA. It takes daily wear well at 9 on the Mohs scale. The stone may have been heat treated to improve color and clarity, which is routine for this material and does not wash out. To clean, use warm water, mild soap and a soft brush on the setting. Natural stones vary a little, so yours may sit slightly differently from the photograph.
