An open square worn on point, its four sides paved with 21 natural diamonds and its centre left deliberately empty, with a single princess-cut natural peridot prong-set at the top apex. The negative space is the design: light passes straight through the frame, so the pendant reads much larger than its diamond weight suggests. Solid 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum on an adjustable 16-to-18-inch chain. A geometric, architectural take on August colour.
