Peridot Bezel-Set Bar & Drop Necklace

A slim horizontal bar with a single natural peridot suspended just beneath it on a jump ring, sitting a little right of centre so the drop reads as deliberate rather than symmetrical. The stone is bezel-set, which wraps its girdle in solid metal - the right call on a 6.5-7 Mohs gem with distinct cleavage - and it swings very slightly as you move, which is the whole charm of an articulated drop. Solid 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum, offered as separate finished 16-inch and 18-inch necklaces. The pendant assembly measures 27.3 x 5.2 mm.
