It has a distinct cleavage direction and is sensitive to hard knocks, sudden temperature changes and acids, so avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners and keep it from rough wear.
Is this a natural peridot? Yes, every center stone is a natural peridot, not lab-created and not imitation. Peridot is idiochromatic, its yellow-green color comes from iron within the stone itself, so it is essentially always untreated, one of the few gems that needs no routine enhancement. Clean it with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.

What are the stones?
A natural peridot, oval, 6 x 4 mm. It also carries 6 lab-grown diamonds, 1/8 ct in total. Peridot is the gem variety of olivine and rates 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale. Sizes are nominal; natural stones can vary slightly from the stated size.
How is it set?
The center stone is held by 4 prongs. Have the prongs checked once a year so the stones stay secure.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K white, yellow or rose gold; 10K white or yellow gold; or platinum. All the gold is solid 14K and 10K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time.
How big is it on the hand?
The face of the ring is about 5.1 mm. Measurements are approximate and vary slightly with the ring size.
