Four claw prongs, drawn thin and tapered, folded over the crown of a lab-grown diamond and then asked to disappear. There is nothing else on this ring. That is the point of it.
Claw prongs bite the stone at four points and give back more of the round brilliant's edge than a rounded prong does, so from a step away you read diamond first and metal second. It is low, it does not catch on a coat sleeve, and it will look exactly like this in thirty years.

Every order ships free and fully insured by UPS Ground; orders of $500 or more ship by complimentary UPS Express, signature required on delivery (a $50 upgrade below that). The ship estimate for your selection is shown beside the price.

Every ring is made or sized to your ring size, and engagement rings are set with the center stone you choose, so a ring can’t be returned or exchanged for a refund or another size. Please confirm your size before you order; our concierge is glad to help. If a ring arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days and we’ll make it right, and every piece carries our free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

What exactly is the center stone?
A lab-grown diamond sits at the center, 0.5 to 1 ct, round brilliant. It is graded D color and VVS1 clarity.
What does the price include?
The price shown includes the setting, the lab-grown diamond center, set and finished for you.
How is the center stone held?
It is held by 4 prongs. Prongs hold the stone securely while letting light reach it from the sides; have them checked once a year.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K yellow, white or rose gold; 18K white, yellow or rose gold; or platinum. All the gold is solid 14K and 18K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time.
How wide is the band, and how high does the stone sit?
At the base the band is about 1.5 mm wide, and the setting rises about 5.5 to 6.5 mm from the finger, depending on the center size and shape.
Which sizes are offered, and can it be resized later?
US sizes 4 to 9, in quarter sizes. Our concierge can arrange resizing through our jeweler partner and will quote the cost before any work begins.
Can I return it?
Rings are final sale, as each is made or sized to your size; please confirm it first, and our concierge can help. If it arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll repair, replace or refund it.
How do I care for the diamond?
Diamond is the hardest gem, though a hard knock can still chip an edge. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush restore the sparkle. Gold resists tarnish; a soft cloth brings back the shine. Have the prongs checked once a year.
