The band splits in two before it reaches the head, sweeps around a halo, and closes again on the other side, so the lab-grown diamond center floats in an open frame with light coming through from underneath.

A halo is the cheapest honest way to make a ring look bigger, and this one is done properly: the melee is bright and matched, the spacing is even, and the center's four long claws reach in over the halo rather than dropping the stone into a well. The pave stops before the palm side, so nothing digs in when you grip something.

It is a generous gift ring. A half carat center inside this halo reads like considerably more, which is a real thing to know if you are trying to give the biggest look your money can honestly buy. Sized at the bench, shipped to you or to her.

Halo melee is the most commonly lost stone on any ring, here or anywhere. We do not pretend otherwise. If one goes, we re-set it under the lifetime warranty, and we will tell you now that a split pave shank cannot be sized far later.

Stone mix, stated plainly: the center is a lab-grown diamond. The accents are natural diamonds, a round halo and split-shank pave, 0.42 ct tw. This ring is not entirely lab-grown, and we would rather you knew that here than found it out later.
