The pears do something a round side stone cannot: they lengthen the ring along the finger, which flatters almost every hand. The halo then fills the space between them, so there is no dead metal anywhere in the top of the ring. It is a lot of ring, and it knows it.

The candid part: pear points and halo melee are the two things a jeweller worries about. We set the pears with V-prongs over the point for that reason, and halo stones do occasionally take a knock loose over a lifetime. When one does, we re-set it under the warranty. No forms, no argument.

Stone mix, stated plainly: the center is a lab-grown diamond. The accents are natural diamonds, two pear side stones and a round halo, 0.53 ct tw. This ring is not entirely lab-grown, and we would rather you knew that here than found it out later.
