Scrollwork engraved into the gallery and a beaded halo give this one the feel of a ring handed down rather than bought new. At the center, a natural blue sapphire, mined and heat-treated, chosen for a warm medium blue and a clean face and set to your carat. The halo and detail diamonds are natural, G to H, SI. Offered in three golds and three carats; the same vintage frame takes a lab-grown sapphire for less. We cut and finish each to order over about three to four weeks.

Every order ships free and fully insured by UPS Ground; orders of $500 or more ship by complimentary UPS Express, signature required on delivery (a $50 upgrade below that). The ship estimate for your selection is shown beside the price.
Rings are final sale. Every ring is made or sized to your ring size, and engagement rings are set with the center stone you choose, so a ring can’t be returned or exchanged for a refund or another size. Please confirm your size before you order; our concierge is glad to help. If a ring arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days and we’ll make it right, and every piece carries our free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

What exactly is the center stone?
A natural blue sapphire, 1 to 2 ct, in cushion, round or oval. Carat weights are nominal, so the actual weight can run slightly under the figure shown.
Has the blue sapphire been treated?
The blue sapphire is heat-treated to improve its color, a standard and permanent treatment.
What does the price include?
The price shown includes the setting, the natural blue sapphire center and the accent diamonds, set and finished for you.
Tell me about the accent diamonds.
The setting carries 18 to 26 natural accent diamonds, depending on the shape and center size. They are G to H color, SI clarity.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K white, yellow or rose gold; or 18K white, yellow or rose gold. All the gold is solid 14K and 18K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time.
Which sizes are offered, and can it be resized later?
US sizes 4 to 9, in quarter sizes. Our concierge can arrange resizing through our jeweler partner and will quote the cost before any work begins.
Can I return it?
Rings are final sale, as each is made or sized to your size; please confirm it first, and our concierge can help. If it arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll repair, replace or refund it.
How do I care for blue sapphire?
Hard enough for every day. Clean it with warm soapy water and a soft brush, and store it on its own.
