Overall the earring runs 20.25 mm long by 11.4 mm wide, the longest piece in this lane. The beading is the detail worth paying for: discrete granules set around the bezel, catching light where a plain rim would read as a flat band. No diamonds. One sapphire per earring, two across the pair. White sapphire and ruby are the same mineral, corundum, and this one has no color. It sits at 9 on the Mohs scale. The stone may have been heat treated to improve color and clarity, which is normal for the material and permanent. Clean with mild soap in warm water, brushing gently where the metal meets the stone.
