Four rounds step down in size from the center outward. Two round lab-grown diamonds sit on each side of the princess center, the inner pair larger and the outer pair smaller, so the row tapers gracefully. They sit close to the square without overlapping its corners, each of which is held by a claw. A fine line of pavé continues along the band beyond the side stones. The result is a wider sweep of diamonds than a three-stone, with a dressier, celebratory feel.
Choose a princess center from 0.75 to 2.00 carats. Each center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.95 to 1.10 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Do the side stones crowd the princess corners?
No. The inner rounds sit right beside the center but stop short of its corners, so each corner keeps its own claw. That protects the points and keeps the square outline clean when you look down at your hand. The rounds then step down in size, which keeps the whole row in proportion.
Is a five-stone practical for everyday wear?
It is wider across the top than a solitaire, so it meets more knocks from desks and doorframes. Each stone has its own prongs, and the graduated shape keeps the outer stones small and close to the band. Take it off for heavy work or the gym, and it handles normal daily wear.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every princess center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
