A square halo traces the center's corners exactly. Small lab-grown diamonds form a square halo that follows the princess outline corner for corner, so the center keeps its sharp geometry while gaining a wider frame of light. Inside the halo, claws hold the center at each point. The pavé carries on from the halo down the shoulders and partway along the band. A halo is a classic way to make a 0.75 or 1.00 carat center read larger across the finger, and this one keeps the square honest.
Choose a princess center from 0.75 to 2.00 carats. Each center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.95 to 1.10 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Does the halo make the center look bigger?
It widens the overall face of the ring, because the halo adds a border of lab-grown diamonds around the princess cut. The center's own measurements do not change, but from a few feet away the combined square reads larger than the stone alone. That is why a halo is a popular choice at 0.75 or 1.00 carat.
Do the halo corners stay square?
Yes. The halo follows the princess outline rather than rounding it into a cushion shape, so its corners stay crisp and pointed. The center's own corners sit under claws inside the frame, and the surrounding halo puts a ring of metal and diamonds between the center's edges and the outside world.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every princess center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
