Fine pavé runs along the band beneath a low-set center. Of our princess settings, this one carries the finest pavé. A row of small lab-grown diamonds runs across the top of the band and partway down each side, set delicately enough that the shank stays slender. The head sits low, so the princess center stays close to the finger and is less likely to catch on sleeves. Crisp claws cover all four corners. Expect a little shimmer and a practical everyday profile.
Choose a princess center from 0.75 to 2.00 carats. Each center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.95 to 1.10 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your Questions
Does the low head make the center look smaller?
No. Carat weight sets the face-up size of the princess cut, and that stays the same whatever the head height. A lower head simply brings the stone closer to your finger, which changes the side profile, not the view from above. If you want more presence, step up the carat; the options run from 0.75 to 2.00.
How far does the pavé go around the band?
The lab-grown diamonds run across the top of the band and continue partway down each side, then give way to plain metal underneath. That keeps the sparkle where people see it and leaves a smooth lower section where the band rests against neighboring fingers and takes the most daily contact.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every princess center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
