Details
Pointed claws guard every corner; a hidden halo glints below. Four pointed claws grip the princess center at its corners, the exact spots where a square stone is most exposed. Under the head, a row of lab-grown diamonds lines the gallery, so the halo shows from the side and stays out of view from above. The shoulders rise in a gentle cathedral and the band stays plain and slim. From the top it reads as a clean solitaire. Turn your hand and the surprise appears.
Choose a princess center from 0.75 to 2.00 carats. Each center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.95 to 1.10 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your ring is made to order in your size (US 3 to 10; see the sizing guide) and typically ships in about 5 to 10 business days by complimentary, insured UPS Express. More princess settings are in our Princess Cut Engagement Rings collection.

Answers, before you ask
Your Questions
Can anyone see the hidden halo when I wear it?
Mostly from the side. Looking straight down at your hand, you see the princess center and its four claws, nothing more. Tilt your hand, or let someone catch it in profile, and the row of lab-grown diamonds under the stone comes into view. It is a quiet detail for the wearer rather than a halo that changes the shape of the ring from above.
Why pointed claws on a princess cut?
A princess cut has four sharp corners, and those points are the most likely place for a chip if the ring takes a knock. Pointed claws wrap over each corner so metal, not diamond, meets the bump first. They also keep the outline crisp, because the claw tips follow the square instead of rounding it off.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every princess center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.
How long does it take to make?
Each ring is made to order in your finger size. Most ship in about 5 to 10 business days, insured and signature-required. The product page shows the current timing before you check out.
