Round diamonds circle the pear, edged in tiny milgrain beads. A halo of round lab-grown diamonds follows the pear right out to its point, with a ring of milgrain beads just inside it. Claws hold the center, one at the tip. The band continues the vintage theme: pavé down the shoulders, bordered on both edges by milgrain. Together, the halo and the beaded detail make the center read larger and give the ring an antique finish. It suits someone who wants presence and old-world detail in a single ring.
Choose a pear center from 0.65 to 2.75 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.00 to 1.20 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Does the halo make the pear look bigger?
Yes. The halo adds a border of sparkle that follows the center's outline, so from a distance the pear and halo read as one larger shape. Because the halo also comes to a point, the pear keeps its silhouette rather than turning into a rounded cluster. The effect is most noticeable at the smaller carat options.
How should I care for milgrain and pavé together?
Both have small grooves where lotion and soap collect, which dulls sparkle over time. Soak the ring in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap and brush gently with a soft toothbrush, paying attention to the halo and the band edges. Milgrain can soften with years of wear, and a jeweler can refresh it at a routine check.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every pear center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
