One continuous rim of polished metal around the whole pear. A full bezel traces the outline, so the point and the rounded end are both enclosed in a smooth wall of metal. The plain band rises into gentle cathedral shoulders beneath the head. Along the side of the setting, a few small lab-grown diamonds show when the ring is seen in profile. Nothing projects to catch on sweaters. It suits a minimalist, or anyone who works with their hands and wants a pear without fuss.
Choose a pear center from 0.65 to 2.75 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.00 to 1.20 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Does a bezel make the diamond look smaller?
Slightly. A thin border of metal frames the edge, so the visible outline sits just inside the rim. In exchange, that polished border gives the pear a crisp, defined edge, which reads especially clearly in yellow or rose gold where the frame looks like a deliberate outline. If maximum face-up size matters most, compare it with a claw solitaire at the same carat weight.
Where are the small accent diamonds on this ring?
They sit on the side of the setting below the bezel, along the cathedral shoulder, so they are seen mostly when the ring is viewed in profile. From above, the ring reads as a clean bezel solitaire. The accents are lab-grown diamonds and add a small flash of light without changing the smooth, plain character of the band.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every pear center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
