Details
Pear-shaped sides point away from a long step-cut center. The emerald-cut diamond sits in four claws, one at each corner. On either side, a pear-shaped lab-grown diamond tucks in against the center, rounded end inward and point facing out, held in its own claws with one over the tip. The soft curves of the pears offset the straight lines and flat facets of the step cut. Below, the band is plain and polished. A good fit for someone who wants a three-stone ring with more shape than round sides would give.
Choose a emerald-cut center from 0.65 to 4.00 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.05 to 1.28 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your ring is made to order in your size (US 3 to 10; see the sizing guide) and typically ships in about 5 to 10 business days by complimentary, insured UPS Express. More emerald-cut settings are in our Emerald Cut Engagement Rings collection.

Answers, before you ask
Your Questions
Are the points of the pear side stones protected?
Each pear sits in its own claws, and one claw is placed at the point, the thinnest and most fragile part of any pear shape. The points face outward along the band, away from the center stone. As with any three-stone ring, have the claws checked once a year and take it off for heavy work.
Do the pear sides make the center look smaller?
Not really. The pears are clearly smaller than the center and sit a little lower, so the emerald cut stays the focus. What they change is the outline: the ring reads wider across the finger, with curves at both ends instead of straight edges. The step cut's long, flat facets also contrast with the brilliant faceting of the pears, which helps the center hold its own.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every emerald-cut center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.
How long does it take to make?
Each ring is made to order in your finger size. Most ship in about 5 to 10 business days, insured and signature-required. The product page shows the current timing before you check out.
