Beaded milgrain frames the square just below its claws. Four claws hold the center at its corners. Directly beneath the stone, a square frame edged in milgrain beads gives the head a vintage finish. The detail is small and close to the diamond, so it reads as texture rather than a second outline. A single row of petite lab-grown diamonds runs down both shoulders of the band, leaving the back plain. For someone who loves antique detail but wants a slim, modern band.
Choose a princess center from 0.75 to 2.00 carats. Each center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.95 to 1.10 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your Questions
Is the milgrain frame a halo?
No. The frame is solid metal finished with tiny raised beads, and it carries no diamonds. It sits just under the center and follows its square outline, adding vintage texture without making the stone look larger the way a diamond halo would. The sparkle around the center comes from the stone itself and the pavé on the band.
Will the claws protect the princess corners?
Each of the four claws sits directly over a corner, the part of a princess cut most likely to chip. The milgrain frame adds a little metal around the base as well. Corners still take the brunt of any knock, so take the ring off for the gym or heavy work, and have the claws checked once a year.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every princess center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
