Details
Arches rise from the band to cradle the head from below. Cathedral arches climb from the shank to support the center, giving the ring a tall, structured profile from the side. A row of bead-set pavé lab-grown diamonds runs along the top of each shoulder and down the band. Four claws hold the emerald-cut center at its cut corners, leaving the long sides open. The look is classic and orderly, which fits the parallel facets of a step cut. It carries centers from 0.65 to 4.00 ct and suits a traditional taste.
Choose a emerald-cut center from 0.65 to 4.00 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.05 to 1.28 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your ring is made to order in your size (US 3 to 10; see the sizing guide) and typically ships in about 5 to 10 business days by complimentary, insured UPS Express. More emerald-cut settings are in our Emerald Cut Engagement Rings collection.

Your Questions
What is the point of cathedral arches?
The arches lift the head and brace it from both sides, a little like the buttresses the name refers to. They give the ring a graceful side profile and make the center look elevated. They usually leave room beneath the head for a wedding band, so the two rings can sit close together.
How does a larger carat change this ring?
The setting scales with the center, but the pavé band stays slim. At 0.65 to 1.10 ct the ring reads delicate and the pavé is a large part of the look. At 2.85 or 4.00 ct the emerald cut takes over and the band becomes a supporting line of sparkle. Both ends of the range look balanced on this mounting.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every emerald-cut center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.
How long does it take to make?
Each ring is made to order in your finger size. Most ship in about 5 to 10 business days, insured and signature-required. The product page shows the current timing before you check out.
