East-west bezel, hidden halo below, pavé down the shank. The marquise lies east-west, across the finger, in a bezel that encloses both points. Under it, a hidden halo of lab-grown diamonds circles the gallery. Graduated pavé, larger near the head, runs down each side of the shank, and open cathedral shoulders lift the setting. It is the sideways marquise with a fuller, dressier finish, made for someone who wants sparkle from every angle without claws at the tips.
Choose a marquise center from 0.70 to 1.60 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.83 to 1.05 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Where does the hidden halo show?
The hidden halo sits beneath the bezel, around the gallery that supports the stone. From directly above you see the marquise in its polished rim and the pavé running down the band. From the side, or when the hand turns, the ring of small lab-grown diamonds under the bezel comes into view, adding sparkle to the profile.
How do the east-west points wear day to day?
In an east-west ring the tips of the marquise face the neighboring fingers instead of your nail and knuckle. Here both tips are enclosed by the bezel, so there are no exposed points or claws at the ends to catch or chip. The rim also keeps the outline crisp, which helps the sideways shape read clearly.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every marquise center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
