A thin bezel up top, pavé along the shoulders below. The emerald-cut center sits in a slim cut-corner bezel that encloses its whole outline, corners included. Below it, pavé lab-grown diamonds run along the shank, giving the band a fine line of light that contrasts with the smooth metal frame above. It is a quieter take on a bezel than a heavy rim, with the protection intact. No center prongs stand proud, so it is kind to knitwear and hair. Suited to a modern taste that still wants some sparkle on the band.
Choose a emerald-cut center from 0.65 to 4.00 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.05 to 1.28 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. How protective is this setting?
Very. The bezel surrounds the entire emerald cut, including the four cut corners where step cuts are most likely to chip. Nothing sticks up above the rim, so there is little to snag. The pavé on the band is set below the head, away from the main line of impact, which keeps day-to-day risk low.
How does the pavé look next to the bezel?
The bezel gives the center a smooth, polished frame, and the pavé adds texture just below it. The contrast keeps the ring from looking too plain without competing with the stone. A slim pavé or plain wedding band will continue the line nicely if you plan to wear the two together.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every emerald-cut center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
