Eight claws, two at every corner, for a step cut's weakest points. Instead of a single claw at each cut corner, this setting uses a pair, so every corner is held from two sides. Under the center, a hidden halo of lab-grown diamonds circles the gallery and shows as a ring of sparkle in profile. Pavé runs down the shank on both sides. Together these make it the most secure prong setting in our emerald-cut lane while still keeping the stone open to light. Choose it if you want sparkle at every angle and maximum corner protection.
Choose a emerald-cut center from 0.65 to 4.00 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.05 to 1.28 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. What do double claws do that single claws don't?
Each cut corner of the emerald cut is gripped by two claws instead of one, so the corner is covered more fully and the stone stays secure even if one claw takes a knock. Visually, the paired claws add a fine detail at each corner without hiding the outline. It is the strongest prong arrangement for this shape.
Where does the sparkle come from on this ring?
Three places. The center emerald cut gives broad flashes from its step facets, the hidden halo adds a bright collar of lab-grown diamonds under the stone that you see from the side, and the pavé along the shank catches light as your hand moves. From above it still reads cleanly as a single center.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every emerald-cut center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
