Details
Flush-set marquise accents, no prongs, on an otherwise plain band. Tapered claws hold the pear, with a pointed claw guarding the tip. Down the shoulders, small marquise lab-grown diamonds are set flush into a plain polished band, spaced apart so the metal shows between them. Their pointed ends echo the point of the center. With nothing raised along the band, the ring is smooth to the touch and unlikely to snag. An open gallery under the head lets light in from the side. For someone who wants a minimal solitaire with a little extra glint.
Choose a pear center from 0.65 to 2.75 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.00 to 1.20 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your ring is made to order in your size (US 3 to 10; see the sizing guide) and typically ships in about 5 to 10 business days by complimentary, insured UPS Express. More pear settings are in our Pear Engagement Rings collection.

Answers, before you ask
Your Questions
How is the tip of the pear held?
A single tapered claw sits right at the point, where a pear is thinnest and most likely to chip, and the other claws hold the rounded body. The claws narrow as they rise, so they cover the edge without looking heavy. Have them checked once a year, and take the ring off for heavy work or the gym.
Will flush-set accents loosen or catch?
Flush setting is one of the most secure ways to add small diamonds to a band. Each marquise sits in a seat cut into the metal, held by the metal around it, so there are no prongs to bend or snag. The band stays smooth against gloves and knitwear, and it asks for very little upkeep on a ring worn every day.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every pear center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.
How long does it take to make?
Each ring is made to order in your finger size. Most ship in about 5 to 10 business days, insured and signature-required. The product page shows the current timing before you check out.
