Details
Small marquise diamonds sunk flush into a plain band. Marquise-shaped lab-grown diamonds are set flush into the shoulders of the band, sitting level with the metal rather than raised on prongs. They read as small points of light scattered along a smooth band. Four claws hold the emerald-cut center by its corners on a clean cathedral head. Flush setting is the most durable way to add accents: nothing protrudes, so there is almost nothing to snag. It suits a minimalist who wants a detail most people notice only up close.
Choose a emerald-cut center from 0.65 to 4.00 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.05 to 1.28 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your ring is made to order in your size (US 3 to 10; see the sizing guide) and typically ships in about 5 to 10 business days by complimentary, insured UPS Express. More emerald-cut settings are in our Emerald Cut Engagement Rings collection.

Answers, before you ask
Your Questions
What is flush setting?
Each accent diamond is set into a hole drilled in the band, with metal pressed around its edge so the stone's surface sits level with the metal. Nothing rises above the band, which makes flush-set accents very secure and smooth to the touch. It is sometimes called gypsy or burnish setting.
Why marquise accents with an emerald cut?
The pointed marquise shape adds a hint of contrast to the center's straight lines without crowding it. Set flush and spaced along the band, the marquises look like small glints rather than a row of stones. The design stays quiet, modern, and easy to pair with a plain wedding band.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every emerald-cut center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.
How long does it take to make?
Each ring is made to order in your finger size. Most ship in about 5 to 10 business days, insured and signature-required. The product page shows the current timing before you check out.
