Marquise on marquise: small flush accents echo the center. The accents here repeat the center's shape. Small marquise lab-grown diamonds are set flush into the plain shoulders, spaced apart so polished metal shows between them. Six tapered claws hold the center, with one at each point, and an open gallery beneath lets light reach the stone from the side. Nothing on the band stands proud of the metal, so it is smooth to wear and easy with gloves and knits. For someone who likes a matched, minimal look.
Choose a marquise center from 0.70 to 2.55 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.83 to 1.05 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your Questions
Do the accents make the band less comfortable?
No. Flush setting sinks each accent into the band so its top sits level with the metal around it. There are no prongs along the shoulders, so the band feels as smooth as a plain one and will not catch on fabric. The six claws on the center are the only raised parts of the ring.
Why repeat the marquise shape in the band?
Echoing the center gives the ring a matched, deliberate look. The small accents point along the band the way the center's tips do, so the design reads as one idea rather than a solitaire with sparkle added. Because they are spaced out and flush, they stay subtle, adding a glint as your hand moves rather than a continuous line.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every marquise center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
