Emerald-Cut Lab-Grown Diamond Channel-Set Solitaire Engagement Ring

$2,229.00
Square diamonds run in a channel down each shoulder. Four claws hold the emerald cut at its corners above cathedral shoulders that rise to meet the head. Down each shoulder, a line of square lab-grown diamonds sits in a metal channel, held between two smooth walls rather than by individual prongs. The straight edges of the accents suit the long, straight facets of a step cut. Because the walls are level, the band wears comfortably and resists snagging. A tailored choice for someone who likes clean lines with steady sparkle.

Choose a emerald-cut center from 0.65 to 4.00 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.05 to 1.28 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.

Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Your ring is made to order in your size (US 3 to 10; see the sizing guide) and typically ships in about 5 to 10 business days by complimentary, insured UPS Express. More emerald-cut settings are in our Emerald Cut Engagement Rings collection.

Answers, before you ask

Your Questions

What is a channel setting?

In a channel setting, the accent diamonds sit side by side in a groove in the band, held in place by the metal walls on either side. There are no prongs between the stones, so the surface is smooth and the diamonds read as one continuous line. It is one of the more practical ways to add sparkle to a band you wear every day.

Do square accents suit an emerald cut better than rounds?

They echo its geometry. An emerald cut is all straight lines and flat facets, and square accents in a channel carry those lines down the band. Rounds would add more scattered sparkle, while squares keep the look orderly and slightly Art Deco. The cathedral shoulders lift the center, so the two kinds of diamond never crowd each other.

What quality is the center diamond?

Every emerald-cut center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.

Can I have a natural diamond instead?

This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.

How long does it take to make?

Each ring is made to order in your finger size. Most ship in about 5 to 10 business days, insured and signature-required. The product page shows the current timing before you check out.
