Six claws above, a channel of squares below. Six claws hold the marquise, with one at each point and two along each long side. Cathedral shoulders rise to meet the head, and down each one a row of square lab-grown diamonds is channel-set between smooth metal walls. The straight line of squares gives the long center a structured base, and the channel keeps the surface even. Center choices run up to 2.55 carats. It suits someone who wants a classic solitaire profile with a continuous line of sparkle.
Choose a marquise center from 0.70 to 2.55 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.83 to 1.05 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. How are the marquise points protected here?
A claw sits at each point, the two places a marquise is most likely to chip, and four more claws hold the long sides. That spreads the grip evenly along the stone. Claws leave the points more exposed than a bezel would, so have them checked once a year and take the ring off for the gym or heavy work.
How does carat size change the look on this setting?
At the smaller options the channel-set shoulders are a large part of the ring's sparkle, and the look is balanced between center and band. Move toward 2.10 or 2.55 carats and the marquise becomes long enough to dominate the finger, with the channel acting as a clean base beneath it. Both work; it comes down to how much of the ring you want the center to own.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every marquise center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
